Miniature Forests
Artist Dapacu has come with a new idea, to create miniature forests
(Mini Forests) with thousands of living trees per square yard.
Each miniature forest is created with a single tree species, others
with a mixture of several species.
Some forests may flower, while others may produce tiny fruits. As
the forest ages, the leaves turn smaller in size, such as bonsai do. In
a way, is a bonsai forest of thousands of living trees, with beauty
increasing by the day and with a long life that could exceed one
hundred years old.
The idea started on 1995 with a painting made by the artist titled “
The Last Forest” Oil on canvas, since then, the artist begin creating
several projects/experiments , including Ecosferes, Miniature
Forests, and Living walls.
Currently working on miniature forests planted directly into the soil
in Austin Texas at Arte.Land.
The Miniature Forests are made for either: low maintenance,
medium maintenance or maintenance free.
If you would like to own your own miniature forest, Ecosferes, or
Living walls, We offer any size and custom design is available.
These forests can survive hundreds of years!
